[From the looks of things, Joker is somehow stuck in a tree. Also from the look of things, he fell in it.]

Well, that was a bit of a failure, far as things go.

So, any folks wanna suggest somethin' of the flyin' variety? Me and Torch gave it a try but, well, she's a bit too fond a goin' fast and doesn't care for the gloomy weather.

[Anyone actually in Goldenrod and passing through the local park... Well, you can probably spot Joker still stuck in the tree. Every now and then he gives a bit of a wiggle, shifts to the one arm, looks down... and then apparently decides to stay stuck. The Charizard flapping about and giving dismissive snorts doesn't seem impressed.]

[Because Chihiro really should probably invest in a flying type- or Pokemon that can fly at all- at some point but just that trip on Nanami's Tropius had him wanting to stay firmly on the ground for a long, long time.]

You can't go wrong with a Salamence! As long as it doesn't spend too much time jumping off cliffs while it's a Shelgon, anyway.

They even learn Fly without the HM.

Although I do have the HM so it wouldn't be much a problem one way or the other. Take it ya got one yerself?

Well, if it's the weather you're worried about, you could always teach her Sunny Day. Otherwise, I'd aim for something like a Dragonite, Salamence, or Hydreigon. Only thing you'd have to worry about are hail storms with them, but rain and lightning? They can handle it.

Not like I have too many on my team just yet, after all.

[Joker looks surprisingly nonchalant for his predicament, and just gives a cheery wave.]

Good day ta ya, Miss Celes! Well, ya know me, always willin' ta try new things. Although I was aimin' ta admire from a different kinda view...

[Torch gives a snort and turns her head away. She accepts no responsibility.]

[Snake heads over to the park, finding Joker with a decent amount of ease. The Charizard definitely helped.

He makes his way over and looks up at Joker. At first it was mostly concern on his face while his Pokèmon tried climbing the tree themselves. John was having the best time of it, but it was still proving hard to get himself really gripped onto the bark of the tree.

After a moment of watching Snake actually turns his head a bit and hides a smile. Don't mind that blush either as he embarrasses himself by showing emotion.

[The sound of someone coming close makes Joker wiggle a bit until he can look down towards the base of the tree. His expression lights up as he sees who it is.]

Snake! Looks like you've found me in a bit of a predicament.

[When he sees some of Snake's pokemon try to get up, he whistles for Torch. The Charizard still seems a bit reluctant to be seen around this hot mess, but she soon flies down to help the snakes up. That lets Joker look back to Snake... and he gives a dry grin.]

Yeah yeah, I know! What a position, eh? Go ahead and laugh, I won't fire ya or anythin'.
