009 // Video (Action for Goldenrod)

[From the looks of things, Joker is somehow stuck in a tree. Also from the look of things, he fell in it.]

Well, that was a bit of a failure, far as things go.

So, any folks wanna suggest somethin' of the flyin' variety? Me and Torch gave it a try but, well, she's a bit too fond a goin' fast and doesn't care for the gloomy weather.


[Action]
[Anyone actually in Goldenrod and passing through the local park... Well, you can probably spot Joker still stuck in the tree. Every now and then he gives a bit of a wiggle, shifts to the one arm, looks down... and then apparently decides to stay stuck. The Charizard flapping about and giving dismissive snorts doesn't seem impressed.]

[Could you look any less uncool, trainer?]

[That gets another small snicker from Snake, hidden by him turning away from Joker.

John manages to get up with the help of Torch while the two Sevipers decide the ground is much more pleasant.

John slithers to Joker and wraps himself around the branch and Joker's abdomen. Nothing can go really wrong with this plan, right?]

[pipers_son]

[Definitely nothing. Torch doesn't seem so sure of that idea, but Joker seems to go along with it.]

So what's the plan here, then?

[You'll find out soon enough, Joker. In fact, John has already begun to start pushing Joker off the branch to try to lower him to the ground.]

[pipers_son]

[This is probably all sorts of disaster waiting to happen, but Joker goes along with it.]

[Snake moves so that he can catch Joker as John manages to get him most of the way down.

Snake did manage to catch Joker, but not without loosing his balance, causing the two to fall together and land on a pile of Sevipers.]

[pipers_son]

[There's a yelp, a groan, and, eventually of course, a bit of laughter.]

Well I'm down!

[silentscales]

Are you okay? says Elizabeth? [Snake shuffles to try to check that Joker isn't hurt.]

[pipers_son]

I'm fine, I'm fine! [Joker gets himself to sit up a bit, still grinning.] Ain't much worse than fallin' in the tree in the first place, right?

wow, I used the wrong snake name. He never found Elizabeth after he came back derp

[Snake offers him a hand to get up. Really, the ringleader managing to get himself in these situations just got Snake to shake his head.]

/pats It's fine, we all bungle up sometimes

[pipers_son]

[Joker takes his hand, grinning as he uses it to help himself up.]

Not a borin' day, 'tho, we can say that at least.

[silentscales]

[Snake nods in agreement, making sure that Joker gets on his feet safely.] Never is with you... says Ruskin.

[Snake may have forgotten to use Ruskin's voice, or perhaps was just covering his own words.]

Hope that's in a good way.

[He's sort of grinning from beneath the wet mess of his bangs now, fang peeking out a bit.]
