[From the looks of things, Joker is somehow stuck in a tree. Also from the look of things, he fell in it.]

Well, that was a bit of a failure, far as things go.

So, any folks wanna suggest somethin' of the flyin' variety? Me and Torch gave it a try but, well, she's a bit too fond a goin' fast and doesn't care for the gloomy weather.


[Action]
[Anyone actually in Goldenrod and passing through the local park... Well, you can probably spot Joker still stuck in the tree. Every now and then he gives a bit of a wiggle, shifts to the one arm, looks down... and then apparently decides to stay stuck. The Charizard flapping about and giving dismissive snorts doesn't seem impressed.]

[Could you look any less uncool, trainer?]

Well, they're right about that! Was in Violet for a while before I figured my team were ready. Angel and Lightnin' made quite the team.

[Talk about an act- a clown and a lion against a flock of birds, more or less.]

Got 'im from the breeding center! They're this little place here in Goldenrod. They do a lotta breedin' and always have some Pokemon up for sale and the like. Some folks even leave 'em their Pokemon, or when they return home.

Good place ta find an egg if ya don't want ta travel all around the country, or adopt someone! I've gotta couple I've taken under my wing myself, includin' Torch here.

Chinatsu evolved— And I caught Senkou to help! [ sasuke shifts the camera a bit— far off and close to a tree is a resting quilava, eyes trying to remain shut as a shinx slowly and gradually wiggles its way closer to her. boys, she thinks, huffing and closer to turning each time— senkou, on the other hand, wants to spend time with her . . . . . . ( she's so pretty . . . . . . )

but ah yes this is just what he needed to know. turning the camera back to himself, his smile widens. ]

Good choice~! Shinxes won't do ya wrong. That's what my Lightnin' is and she's a dependable kinda gal.

And yep, ya can! They make it real easy for folks.

Is she evolved? [ they'd probably get cool when the evolve . . . like thunder cats. ]

'kay— Do you know how dragon types are? [ if joker had one to begin with— anything would be good to know before he snagged one! ]

Yep~! She actually evolved right in the middle a her battle with Falkner, too, heh. Want ta meet her? She ain't with me now, but it wouldn't take much ta bring her out.

[Once... he... gets out of the tree...]

Mmm, nah, I don't have many myself besides Guls although I've heard from some folks that a couple a them are good for flyin' so I expect I'll be lookin' inta it soon enough. I've heard they're a real powerful type, 'tho! The final gym leader is supposed ta be real strong since that's what she prefers.

[ he loves seeing new pokemon— it was like one of those colorful encyclopedias, there were hundreds, and just when you start thinking you've seen it all . . . ! ]

I only saw pictures, but— I was thinking about a Trapinch. Flygon looks really cool.

Then gimme five minutes or so, Angel outta be here soon. [Angel, please be here soon.] But that sounds like a good choice! I've heard they're handy.

[But then, Joker thinks most Pokemon are handy, so that doesn't say much.]

Five gyms! I've been ta the one in Violet, Azalea, Goldenrod, Ecruteak, aaand Cianwood!

Plannin' ta! I just got a bit sidetracked and didn't dedicate myself ta it.

Heh, that I did! I know a few a my team didn't mind focusin' on other things, too.

Well~. Besides acts for the circus, my Zoroark Invidia's been learnin' how to do things with computers and all that fancy stuff!

Which is good, because I don't have a bloody clue how, ha ha.

Ya would be surprised at the sorta things Pokemon can do! They're a pretty smart lot. Some a the Psychic types can even talk ta ya directly.

I think if she really wanted... She could. But she doesn't. She prefers doin' somethin' a bit more basic- fancy word I heard for it was "empath". She's a real clever thing when she's connectin' on an emotional scale.
