[Julien leaves an outfit on a hanger on Joker's mailbox, covered with one of those clothes protector sheet things because he doesn't know if the Supervisor is living on the moon or not. (Living on the moon, geez...)

The outfit is a swashbuckler's, but with some key features. It's almost backless, with a collar part and a waistband part and nothing in between, making it extremely easy to put on, though after that you have to tug on little drawstrings so it doesn't just gape open. It's basically a fancy apron with sleeves and more fasteners. Julien's had some experience with the difficulty of combining clothes and wings, even if he doesn't really bother anymore.

It's also loud. Voluminous black and red sleeves and pant legs, something between a sash and a skirt in horizontal black and white, and a hat with a feather so big it looks like it could have come from Julien.]

Well! Not my first rodeo. [Some of that is the drawstrings. Julien took a while to find a cordlock that could be operated one-handed. It's still a little awkward, holding the cord with three fingers and operating the lock with thumb and forefinger and kinda inching it, but he thinks he picked well.] Sounds like you like it?

I'm sure I can find one somewhere.... Although how do ya think a cape would even look over wings?

Soooo, turns out there was dust on it and I didn't figure that out until a whole lot of dunking pieces in warm liquids so they'd be softer. In my defense, heated up eggnog hides a lot of sins.

Yes, pity me. Though that may have been graham crackers? Where I'm from sometimes we cheap out and use those instead of gingerbread but still claim it's a gingerbread house. Either way!

Ah, the life of bein' poor, right?

Good times. Honestly though, in this case it's also because of the culture, we just... don't bake our own anything much, and graham crackers are cheap and readily available. I saw the real deal when I was little!

We just don't. Only the super rich bother to make elaborate things for themselves - or in this case, go and pay someone to make something outrageously fancy.

Ha. Ain't that always the way of things. Although it seems in some places that at least it's a little easier.

Definitely here, anyway. But then, I guess in some ways, the Ringmaster is pretty bleedin' rich and we just get benefits.

Oh, yeah, it's definitely easier here. Pay isn't a thing really, everything's provided and you get an allowance when we're somewhere with money, and I don't think yours is really more than mine? Even though you've been here what, five years?
