[Steven's been making seashell jewelry with the merfolk, and so naturally he's decided to share the wealth with his treasured friends. He'll either give it to you in person or via your mailbox. If in person, he'll pretty much just swim up to you and be like "Here! This is for you! I made it!" and if you get it in the mailbox it will have a note with it that basically says the same thing, plus a small doodle of a heart-shaped fish.

Steven has made Joker a coral chunk necklace. It will be gifted sometime during the off week.]

Mailbox - day 8

[Left in Joker's mailbox is a painted card, along with a wrapped bundle, like rolled cloth around a box. The card smells of pine needles, snow and a fireplace, and features Papyrus, waving enthusiastically ahead. Somehow there's boneprint snowflakes faintly falling against the pale background. Along the header and footer, the card reads:]

[The gift itself turns out to be two-part: a t-shirt not yet altered to allow for wings and such, and an illustrated book of nursery rhymes from another world. Up to you whether the rhymes actually translate.]

[Julien leaves an outfit on a hanger on Joker's mailbox, covered with one of those clothes protector sheet things because he doesn't know if the Supervisor is living on the moon or not. (Living on the moon, geez...)

The outfit is a swashbuckler's, but with some key features. It's almost backless, with a collar part and a waistband part and nothing in between, making it extremely easy to put on, though after that you have to tug on little drawstrings so it doesn't just gape open. It's basically a fancy apron with sleeves and more fasteners. Julien's had some experience with the difficulty of combining clothes and wings, even if he doesn't really bother anymore.

It's also loud. Voluminous black and red sleeves and pant legs, something between a sash and a skirt in horizontal black and white, and a hat with a feather so big it looks like it could have come from Julien.]

[It'll be a guess until Joker runs into Doll, but his Supervisor gift is a long scarf, with stripes of magic fabric about the ends. The stripes go through shades of red through to violet, covering the pink range as well. (He'll find Doll has a scarf that does the same!)]

[On B18, they will find a fancy looking gift box in his trailer with a note left on top. The handwriting is done in an over the top cursive that he might recognize as the Ringmaster's, written on aged papyrus with the ink seemingly made of shining gold.]

"Joker-

I hope this gift will better allow you to defend what is yours.

[Her signature is so massive and florid that it fills up the rest of the paper. When they opens the box, they'll find a dark purple cloak with feather-like leather detailing that extends to his ankles and includes a thick hood. This cloak will reflect mild to moderate magical damage, as well as piercing damage, such as bullets, arrows, or blades. Of course, it can't repel the blunt force that comes with the strike, but it may make the difference between being skewered and bruised. The cloak also deflects some forms of mental influence waves, so when the hood is pulled up he will be resistant to certain compulsions. He can also use this cloak to shield others.]

[Because Joker is Joker, it is easy to deliver this gift. It's why on Day 15 of winter break he'll find a single Tease waiting for him on his pillow when he settles down for the night. It'll be holding a sealed envelope with strict instructions not to give it to anyone else.

Once retrieved it'll flit to the nearest window to either stay, wait to be let out, or eventually find a door to escape under.

Inside the envelope is one Wireless Text Ring along with detailed instructions on how to use it. It's almost too detailed as if some poor merchant was harassed by some Victorian Era Noble that had no idea how to use it himself.

[The book included with it is titled Molecular Gastronomy: Exploring the Science of Flavor. It analyzes cooking from a chemist's perspective, and is probably terribly dry for most of it, though it includes a few tasty (and optimally nutritious) recipes amidst the science babble.]

[ The book is titled Helen the Harmonic Harlot. It's a collection of bawdy drinking songs and ballads (with simple sheet music) that someone has ham-fistedly strung together into a stage-play. The story is narrated from a prostitute who cheerfully solves increasingly improbably problems for other people with music, dumb luck, and her her womanly charms. Eventually, she falls in love and wins herself a nice man with her great bedroom skills, happily retiring from her colorful life. The moral of the story seems to be 'hard work, a sense of humor, and a nice ass pays off.' ]

BREAK DAY 24

[Steven has left you a gift! There is a small note attached, left somewhere you are likely to find it.

It is a white throw pillow made with slightly iridescent faux fur, with a contrastingly pink patch of felt stitched to the front in the shape of a spade. The white fabric smells faintly of lavender and other hard to place relaxing aromas, and has subtle magical soothing effect from being close to it.]
