And here we are, beginnin' the great Litleo Challenge!

[That's... sure Joker. That's sure Joker literally covered in Litleo- five for anyone who's counting- standing on what some might recognize as the ferry to Kanto. There's a Charizard in the background who's looking amused. Listen, he needed a flier to get him to New Bark.]

I've already done the gyms 'round Johto, see, and I thought I'd do somethin' more excitin' for goin' ta Kanto for the first time! So, what I'm gonna do is use nothin' but this group a Litleo! This here is Rose Red, this is Elsie, then ya got Biancabella, Florine, Nen, and- well Dovre ain't with us right now since I had ta use Torch here ta get us ta New Bark, and she'd bite my hand clear off too, but she'll be joinin' us once we get ta Kanto!

And a course, we're accompanied by good ol' Jimmy Two-Shoes here- [The Gear is twisted off to show the kid in question.] Wave hello, Jims!

For anyone who goes ta the Circus, Angel and Invidia are watching over it, save for the days when I'll be stoppin' in the cities. First time me and her will be so apart, s'gonna worry us both...

Risking such an important and useful limb would be a foolish idea even if you had ten, but its uniqueness does increase its importance even more.

Exactly. I mean, ya could have the Pokemon do everything for me, but that seems a bit lazy, yeah?

Using them as unpaid labor for even the smallest actions would not only be lazy, it'd be asking for a rebellion.

And with how much they outnumber us, can ya imagine how quick that rebellion would be?

They know where we sleep, and they can access our food supplies. It'd be over before dawn.

Well, I fer one appreciate our Pokemon overlords.

So do I. Just as much as they appreciate the cookie recipe they cannot quite replicate by themselves, I hope.

You'll be fine. Everyone can learn how to bake, but not everyone has a naturally good sense of humor.

Ya would be amazed, actually... Some folks just shouldn't be allowed near the kitchen. It's a mystery ta me.

I must admit I was that sort of person, when I first arrived here. Yet these last few years of practice have made an acceptable cook out of me.

Oh, good for ya, mate. It's a good practical skill ta have.

Ha, sometimes I think about some a the fancy nobles from my world comin' here. They'd be at a loss, with everythin' bein' done for them before.

[Come to think of it, actually, didn't he hear about "Smile" having problems in the troupe...]

They would be, but it's a pleasant and important loss. I'd never paid attention to how the maids wash the sheets before, but now I have plenty of arguments to argue for a raise of their salary. Everyone should learn that much.

Wonder, then, if whatever brings us here takes requests... That can be my good deed for the world: makin' nobles realize how hard housework is.

...If this world took requests, most of us would be long gone. But it cannot hurt to try.

That's the least it can do, considering the number of children it seeks out. They deserve a world they can safely explore with trusted partners.

Local children rarely involve themselves in such matters. That makes them wiser than any of us, in a way.
