A party! That's definitely some cause for celebration, innit? Looks pretty high class, too. Back where I'm from, wasn't often common folks got ta go ta secret fancy places like an Elite Four's home for things like that. Course, that sorta thing ain't much interestin' if not for the people, if ya ask me.

Good thing it looks like a lot of us are goin', then, huh? And some celebrities, too! That's definitely gonna liven things up.

But enough about that for now! Callin' all breeders and folks with businesses in Johto! As Ringleader and owner a the Eve's Garden Circus, I'd like ta extend a hand ta all of ya. I got an idea in my head the other day and was wonderin' if some of ya would like ta have stalls ta sell yer wares and eggs on the big days. For ya business owners, we can talk about settin' up permanent stalls. For breeders, we'd have a whole section for the lot of ya where ya could make yerselves comfortable.

Let me know what ya all think!

Oh, an' one last thing.... I don't suppose any of ya know things about Clair, do ya? Things she likes, favorite flowers, things like that. [JOKER, NO.]

It doesn't change the fact that they have done horrible things! With what you're saying, I can't but think that the only way you can sympathize with them... is from being one yourself! What other kind of person will roll in the dirt with them, like the pigs they are?

Ain't that a lotta vitrol aimed at me now... But a course I can sympathize. When ya grow up like I do, ya understand good folks can do nasty things.

And that's where you're wrong! If even the most heinous crimes can have their 'nastiness' affected by something as easily manipulable as circumstance and motivation... then why are the laws so strict? Why aren't people being released everywhere? Of course, I'm not saying the governments are perfect... because they end up missing and being unable to detain so many more who run free!

But whoever they do catch always deserves what they get. Maybe even more! Even the ones in charge drench themselves in mercy to feel better about themselves.

Does just arrestin' someone and all that really stop crime?

Of course not! As long as weak humans exist, there will be crime. But arresting someone and punishing them might work to tell them not to do it again.

It's like training dogs. There will always be ones around, even domesticated pets, that don't know how to behave. But if people make an effort to train them, they'll obey your every command.

But if a bunch a crimes are all done 'cuz the folks in question are desperate, well, even if yer punishments are somethin' real frightenin', people are still gonna do 'em.

That's the impossible point. [Of course, they couldn't fix the Danganisland thing, but that was a special case.] No matter what, if people are weak-willed, desperation will come from anywhere! It doesn't matter if people 'try to help', they'll only drop a few coins for the purpose of feeling better for themselves instead of lending a hand.

Human just aren't made for helping people! Ultimately, everything they do, is just for themselves... grandma took care of me for her own family honor. People supported my dancing for their own enjoyment. You're probably telling me this so I don't scare people off at the circus, aren't you? Kyahahah! If they can be scared off so easily, they don't deserve it.
