Starter in New Bark Town. A normally very cheerful pokemon, she has an almost abnormally strong empathetic connection to her trainer and often gives away any emotion he's feeling... Even when he's doing his best to fake it.
As Joker's starter, Angel has set her up as assistant ringleader and is generally looked up to by most of the other pokemon in Joker's roster. Her already powerful psychic empathy has only grown stronger while in his care and she's now intensely connected to most of the others. She's fortunately managed to make it so that she doesn't let it overtake her completely, and is often the first face many new Pokemon see since she's the one 'mon that never leaves Joker's side. This combined with her powerful empathetic abilities makes her the focal point for the good teamwork that's so prevalent in Joker's troupe.
While it's suspected that she could easily communicate telepathically if she ever wanted to, Angel has made the strongest connection with Joker himself and they often seem to communicate without any words at all whether spoken or thought. Sometimes details get lost this way, but that's never bothered the two of them.
While she gets along with most of the troupe, Angel has found herself working best alongside Lightning the Luxray and the pair of them make quite a team.
Out of the entire troupe, she's one of the few Pokemon that consistently calls Joker by name. She's also one of Joker's Pokemon who knows how to get into the Rocket frequency and Goldenrod base.
