So! First off, a bit a business for anyone lookin' for work. As always, the circus is always open ta folks who'd like ta run stalls or participate in any a the acts. We could always use folks who know their way around all this fancy tech or who can patch folks up just in case. However! This is for the future.

Ta be exact, October. Our good friend Jack has left the haunted house in the care of Jims and me, but two folks does not a haunted house make! So if yer interested in that sorta work, let me know, and we can see how things are come October!

Secondly, bit more personal, but beyond breedin', any recommondations for where ta fish for good water types and the like?

[With that settled, he hands over the 'Gear to the Zoroark and makes his way out of his personal tent. He understands privacy when it's needed.]

[And there's Invidia! There's a pause before a shimmer of light goes over him, and he's in his usual preferred human disguise.]

Hello, Envy.

[Envy grins and gives Joker a casual mock-salute as he leaves, and then nods at Invidia.]

Hey, Invidia. So, what's going on?

[He likes giving advice to his fox buddy, so he'll try to be helpful about whatever it is.]

[Note: 'try'.]

[Invidia squirms in place, positively embarrassed in every inch of his body language.]

You know there's another Zoroark in the troupe, right?

[Maybe Envy has seen her around. She's a shiny, after all, and Joker's been having her work on the illusions for the shows as well since she's evolved.]

[Oho. Envy keeps his expression in that same curious grin, so he doesn't give away that he has an idea of what this is about.]

Yeah, the blue one, right? I've seen her around, but I haven't talked to her or anything.

[He'd been curious, he likes the species. But then his own Zoroark, Lilith, had also seen her and started acting A BIT JEALOUS--all those sparkles--so that had been a no go.]

Her name is Avari...

[If Envy's suspicions are anything to do with certain lovestruck stares and the way Invidia is now covering his face, then he's on the right track.]

She's really pretty and graceful and it's nice talking with her.

[SUSPICIONS: PRETTY MUCH CONFIRMED. Bless your heart Invidia, you are not subtle.]

And you want to talk to her more, I'm guessing?

[He really isn't. You'd think for an illusion Pokemon he would be but no...]

How do I tell her I like her a lot?

[He is perhaps just slightly muffled from behind his hands.]

She's really pretty and calm and smart and dependable...

She likes dancing and things like that. She was with Papa during New Years.

[Envy gets an odd, sad look on his face as he listens to Invidia gush, but he snaps out of it when the Zoroark mentions dancing and grins again even more confidently.]

[He knows about dancing! He's got this.]

Well, in that case, you ought to find a good opportunity to ask her to dance, and tell her then. Do you know how at all?

[That's definitely an idea! He perks up.]

No. Is it hard?

[He taps his chin, thinking.]

Hm, it depends on the kind of dance. It can be tricky to get the hang of a new one at first, but it isn't that hard once you're used to it. I learned all the fancy ballroom stuff back where I'm from, but I didn't know any of the modern ones and I'm still working on them.

You should find out what kind of dancing she likes to do.

[You can almost see the ear perk.]

I could use that to talk with her more!

[Envy grins widely.]

Exactly. Ask her about it, bet she'd like telling you. Maybe she'll even show you how to dance yourself.
