...So, me and Jimmy aren't allowed in the hotel in Violet anymore.

[Joker says it with a bit of a grin on his face as he's seated outside near Sprout Tower as it's night time. There are still probably hundreds of Noibat flapping around. There's at least a dozen attached to him and Angel the Mime Jr who's sitting next to him.]

Guess yer not allowed ta hundred bats or so in yer hotel rooms.

...Or spillin' out inta the hallways.

...Or gettin' inta the coffee pot although that wasn't on purpose.

Lesson for us all, innit?

Haha— Yeah, man! Been here a damn while now— Mimi wants to try out that gym thing, s'we're sittin' back and levelin' up a few.

[ as for miracle— agh, he's too distressed to reconnect with his trainer. gamzee was too mellow, too high all the time that if he were to as he'd like ( what mime jr. wouldn't like to synch with their trainer? ), poor mimi would be stuck with the task of taking care of all of them, including gamzee's pokemon— most of which are more troublemakers. he'd really be more excited and happy, mirroring gamzee really, if pb wasn't causing more trouble! but if he weren't to care, the trainer certainly wouldn't, and well— someone's got to hold the tent.

miracle tries his best to meet their greeting, though, as happily as he could— but then he sees all those things on the floor.

pausing and briefly giving the floating little scraggy A VERY ANGRY FATHER look, he lets the rugrat suffer a tad more ( who now has nothing to say and do but flinch back and . . . wait for consequences from daddy mime ), his attention all to angel. he even bows to apologize, once for the other mime jr, and the other to joker.

"we're really sorry if he caused trouble! did he take anything from you? your trainer?" ]

Lil' Peanut up and crawled off— [ "gamzee no", pb mutters, little paws covering his face. please don't call him lil' peanut in front of these guys that's personal . . .

it sounds so uncool . . . ]

[Oh, that poor dear. Angel makes a sympathetic sort of noise, even as she herself leans back much like Joker does. Being connected to a trainer with so many emotional issues like her own certainly is a challenge, but she can't imagine not synching up! She pats Miracle's shoulder. It's such a trial, it realy is.]

["Don't worry. He didn't have time to steal anything from us! He just dropped all of this when he was trying to show off after we caught him." Well, when a small hoard of bats caught him and latched onto his face, but those are details.]

[Letting Angel handle things on the Pokemon front, Joker let's himself just listen to Gamzee, nodding his head here and there.]

Yeah, gym's are a good way ta go about things 'round here! Helps with expenses, I can tell ya that much. [aka Joker's prime motivation, along with getting the gym leader's involved in the circus.] Y'know yer lil' Peanut has sticky fingers? Thievin', is what I mean.

[He has a feeling he has to make that distinction clear to Gamzee for some reason...]

Well, ain't like the routes have any lack of 'em! I know they've kept my lot fed a good deal when we've been on the roads before.

It's goin' fantastic! I've always meant ta take a better run around this place than I have, and this is a great excuse, ha ha!

[The delighted hop Angel makes makes that an affirmative. Yes, those ones exactly! She takes the berries with a wide grin, plopping down right where she is. This day is turning out pretty good. They've herded a bunch of bats, and now a pickpocket attempt has earned her berries! Excellent.]

[Joker has to lean a bit as every bat gets its pick, which involves a lot of just sticking their heads right in there and coming out with something. He gives a fond scratch to one behind the ears before he properly ears Gamzee's offer.]

I'll pass. Think I've heard they ain't much good for humans and the like, yeah?

[ oh, everyone keeps saying that! and yet, gamzee see's no trouble in eating chesto berries . . .

they can make you so at chill . . .
