Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, hello!
[That sure is Joker, the backdrop being... somewhere near Azalea maybe? The forests look familiar enough. Anyone who hasn't seen or met him before can probably see very clearly that his right arm is completely missing and the shirt sleeve simply hangs limp. No prosthetic for him, not that he'd want that one in particular anyway... In his right hand, however, there are three brightly colored balls. He's as chipper as usual.]
I've been teachin' my Invidia a few tricks of the trade, as it were, when it occurred ta me that I could show you fine lot a thing or two. Invidia, say hello. [There's a beat, and then the hand of a Zoroark slowly comes into frame to give a quick wave before retreating. Joker chuckles.] He has a bit a stage fright, but nothin' that can't be worked on. Anyway, we've been workin' on jugglin'! I can't show the whole thing, bein' a bit impaired, but knowin' how to juggle three balls in one hand is really just somethin' ya need ta learn anyway if ya want ta juggle six with both! [He clears his throat and starts to speak a bit slower and more clearly, accent less noticeable. Thanks to one Maka Albarn, he's remembered that not everyone is from dear ol' England as he is.]
So let's get started, shall we?
For the beginners in the crowd, it's best to start off with just two. [He tosses one of the balls off-screen to Invidia before showing how he's holding the balls in his hand to the camera.] You aren't going to want to toss them up too high right now- since you only have two, it shouldn't be much of a problem. The one in your fingers is what you'll toss up first. When it's at it's highest, then you throw the second one. [He demonstrates.] Just focus on catching them, and not the juggling part just yet. When you've gotten the hang of that... [He starts to keep the pattern going, hand moving in a slight circular movement.] Just keep it going.
[Joker keeps this up for a moment, actions smooth and effortless. It feels good to know he can still do these kind of tricks even if he's a bit impaired. Soon enough, he catches both balls again.]
Really, you have the same idea with three balls. [The third is tossed back to him.] You just have to be a little faster and toss them a little higher. I shouldn't have to tell anyone that eye-hand coordination is the key here. Again, don't rush yourself. Just do the catches first and then after a bit of practice...
[He starts to juggle the three, a blur of color going about in a circle through the air. Joker seems rather happy with himself.]
So that's how you do it! It's a bit harder than it looks, I'll grant you that, but you should get the hang of it if you practice. Got that, Invidia? [There's an affirmative sound from the Zoroark. Joker finally stops juggling, hopping a little bit as he rushes to catch the balls.]
So what about the rest of you? Anyone else have fun little tricks they want to share? What kind of things did you like to do before coming here? I'm all ears!

Well, when yer tossin' things around, ya never know what ya might hit. From what I could tell, he tossed one a little too high and quite a bit off course. Then it came down, as gravity is wont ta make things do, and, well... Someone happened ta be between it and the ground.
The way it sounds though, juggling is controlled. Practice is just a matter of learning the proper amount of force to use on the balls?
[And here she disappears for a moment and a rustling sound is heard before she reappears holding two small red balls in her hand. Though the angle seems to have shifted coming from below instead of from directly in front. She gives them a quick experimental toss and then another and shrugs.]
Like that right?
[He puffs up, quite pleased when she gets the hang of it.]
Just like that! Make a goal an' time how long ya can keep them in the air. Sometime's it helps ta have somethin' ta work towards.
[She smiles. Well if he thinks she's in good shape then she must be even if she's still leaning toward those first couple being beginners luck. But she starts tossing the two again speaking up once she's found a rhythm.]
Once I feel comfortable with two I move onto three?
[A short pause as she realizes he probably has better things to do than to answer her questions, even if they are for reinforcement sake.]
You asked what people did before coming. I was a student, I miss it. [Though it dawns on her that hasn't really changed too much since August.]
[Please, if he had better things to be doing, he wouldn't be dicking about in the forests near Azalea. It's nice to get to know new faces. He's always been a people person, and in such an exciting place as this... Well, there's all the more reason to talk a lot to whoever decides to listen. Besides, sometimes the more he talks, the less he remembers that he's all on his own here without his family.]
Really? Ya must be smart then, although I suppose teachin' is a bit different from wherever ya are. They just recently encouraged all children ta go to school in England.
[No wories there, she'd rather master one before moving on anyway. She stops with the balls though she makes no motion to put them away for now as she tilts her head at him. It shouldn't come as a surprise to her that what he's saying sounds strange, it's a common thread but he named a specific place that she's familiar with and she's pretty sure that all children have been attending school there for nearly a hundred years now.]
Not overly. I'm average? Japan has been educating all children for the last forty years.
[He's not sure if he should find that strange or not. As much as it sounds nice to go gallivanting about the word, he's never really been outside of England. For all he knows, maybe that's normal at their time.]
Never been ta Japan, although people keep mentionin' this place is a lot like it in some ways! What's it like there, if ya don't mind me askin'?
[She shrugs, the exact date is currently eluding her but she's pretty sure she did the arithmetic right.]
It depends on what part you're from. I'm from a fairly moderate-paced area. Um...it's really just like living in any other city, busy, loud, people everywhere. I'm sorry if that isn't really helpful. I don't usually find that I have to describe it to others.
Well, I rather like the cities. That's where ya find the most interestin' people. Then there's all the things ta do, even if ya don't have much in the way of money. There's always somethin' if ya know where ta look.
They're definitely something. Although I was more likely to go directly between school and home. Go out with friends sometimes. I didn't really do much of diving into the seedier places. I guess that makes me sort of boring.

[It's a miracle he hasn't gone into a crisis, honestly.]

[She tilts her head curious. Sorry if it's a probing question but she likes learning new things.]

I never thought she was stiff. It's just another day though when you look at it, so I sort of understand why she wouldn't be.
