[He gives a nod to his desk, where one is waiting. Already sent the Pidgey off with a tip and a thank you. Joker whistles out a breath from between his teeth.]
...He got ta choose when ta leave. Not a lotta folks get ta, here. That's good for 'im.
I don't think there'll be a soul who knew 'im that won't.
[But it's up to him to lighten up the air, so Joker takes a deep breath and goes over to place his hand on Jimmy's head.]
But hey, lookit the bright side- he ain't dead. Folks come back 'round sometimes, don't they? I'm sure we'll see 'im again... and by then, we can show 'im how well we've been taken care of his business, eh?
Then let me just get all prepped up, and I'll meet ya out front! How about that, then?
[It'll give him a little bit of extra time to get used to this as well. He's bid goodbye to those who've worked beneath and alongside him before, but it still hurts this time with how this place is.]
[He just has to remember this is what Jack's chosen to do. That makes all the difference.]
Yeah, okay! I'll head on out and wait for you outside!
[He hadn't actually gone to the Mansion since receiving his letter, after all, but having Joker come along with him would make it a little less daunting.
So, with that, Jimmy folds and stuffs his letter back into his pocket again before turning to leave the tent, gesturing for Leader to follow.]
[For once, Joker doesn't take as long as he usually does. Usually he's all flash and attention, wanting to get the Circus' name out at all times, but this time it's rather plain. There's the makeup, because there always is, but everything else is rather simple. A simple white button up and some slacks look almost strange for Joker going out on any sort of business.]
[The rest of his usual troupe is trailing behind him as well, of course, with Angel on Lightning's back since she's still not up for walking.]
[Jimmy's got a bit more of a spring in his step now than he did when he first arrived, a bit less worried about things now that he knows that he and Joker are on the same page. And after all, he did really like helping Jack run his haunted house during Halloween. How could watching after it year round be that much different?]
[Good thing that both their strides are ridiculously long, eh? Still, it's a bit of a trip, and Joker glances down to Jimmy as they make their way to Jack's place.]
So, got any idea of how ta handle the place yet, or do ya think yer gonna need a while?
[He hums a little in thought as he thinks that over, looking down at his sneakers as they walk.]
Well, in the letter, Jack left me a guide and floor plans for the mansion. Oh, and his Murkrow too.
[He looks back over at Edgar as he says that, who still appears very nonplussed, but more sad than anything else as she sits on his shoulder.]
I'm not really sure exactly what I'm gonna do yet though. I just know that I want to have it open on Halloween, no matter what. That's what Jack wanted, and all. And I'll prolly let the Pokemon I don't have traveling with me stay there with the other ghosts sometimes if they want...just so the others don't get lonely, yaknow?
Maybe when I have a bit a spare time, I'll see if I can find any folks who wouldn't mind workin' at it durin' the season... So long as they're still 'round, at any rate.
[He nods, looking over as he feels Leader brush up against his side. There was no need to worry about people leaving. It wasn't something he could control...he just had to keep reminding himself of that.]
That sounds like a good idea. I can help you! It'll be easier to spread the word if we're both doing it.
[His excitement is contagious, and Joker finds himself laughing even as the mansion starts to come into view.]
Then it's settled! Even when yer off travelin', I can send ya pictures a the paperwork we do and how we get it all organized and the like. Sound good? And when yer around, I can show it ta ya personal.

He did sound like he really wanted to go home. ...I'm gonna miss him, though.

Yeah, they do. I'd hate for him to come back and not see things taken care of- ...w-which reminds me, actually...um.
[He hefts the silver key again, turning it over in his hand.]
Jack kinda...gave me his Mansion. Like...the whole thing.

[That's one hell of a thing to leave to a kid.]
Want ta use today ta go check it out, see that everythin' is in order?

[He's a bit nervous since he's now entrusted with the house and all of the Pokemon living there, but Jack made him a Pumpkin Knight.
He can take this on, no problem.]

I can help ya get everythin' organized around Halloween time if ya like.

You really will? That would be awesome, thank you!

'Course I will! I got the experience, don't I? Me and Jack worked together plenty last ear, so I already got a good idea of how ta go about things.

Heh, you really think I'm capable?

But if ya like, I can start teachin' ya more about how ta run the circus. Help get ya prepared for the haunted house.

[HOLY CRAP he hasn't pulled out the catchphrase in some time, that's how you know he's stoked.]
I'd love that, Joker!
