[Angel's own tiny body starts to glow with an aura, reaching out towards the giant flock of bats. She tries to soothe them with her own relaxed nature, beaming all the while.]
[Joker, in the meantime, just braces himself by the door and grins. Incoming!]
[The bats feel the soothing energy as they come closer, and immediately they are drawn to it, hoping it promises them some sort of safety from the scorching sun. They soon form a column as they fly down, rather rapidly descending. Soon enough, Inferno has to pick up speed just to keep up with them, and by the time other bats are peeling from the trees to see what's going on, they've started to reach the building.
And when they do, they thunder in like an out of control freight train, sounding a lot like one too as they all squeak and shriek, wings flapping as they zip past Joker and into the hotel.]
[It's hard to say if Jimmy's laughing too because he genuinely thinks this is amusing, or if Joker's laughter is just contagious. Either way, that sure is a heck ton of bats.
They clamber through the hallway and fly until they reach the end, darting through the other doors and into the open hotel rooms. A few of them linger out in the hallway as they get misdirected in the chaos, quickly attaching themselves to the ceiling as they try to parse what exactly they've flown into.
The ones that make it into the bedroom- which constitutes nearly all of them- immediately start looking for places to land. A fair few of them seek escape beneath the bed, the darkest place they can find. Others land...pretty much everywhere, from the ceiling to the beds to anything up high they can hang from. It's still uncomfortably bright without the windows covered and the lights on, but it's closed in at least.]
[Joker keeps gripping the door tightly until the sound of probably a hundred flapping wings finally starts to fade. He squints one eye open to look up at the sky- yep definitely looking considerably clearer. He straightens up a bit and grins up at Jimmy.]
[Jimmy calls down breathlessly as Inferno flies back down to the ground, letting Jimmy jump off of her back. If not all, it was certainly most of them...far beyond the capacity of four adults per hotel room, um.]
[Jimmy nods, flashing Angel a smile as he steps past the door and into the hallway, where the sound of chittering bats is still loud and only just beginning to calm.
What he doesn't feel or seem to notice, however, is the fact that there is a smaller than normal bat latched onto the top of his hair, claws hanging onto the blonde locks for dear life as Jimmy goes inside.]
[Joker follows after and just grins at the tiny bat Jimmy's found himself with. Looks like he's got a friend. Well, long as it doesn't poop in his hair, that outta be fine.]
[As they walk down the hallway, Joker catches sight of Claw and Fang staring into one of the rooms with wide eyes. He can only imagine the sight and he just laughs into his hand as he truly sees it for himself. There are bats on nearly every surface.]
[This is a work of beauty.]
[Joker comes inside and ducks past some bitty bats as he goes towards the tiny kitchen area the room comes with where there's a bat stuck in the coffee pot and licking at the insides.]
[Jimmy giggles, stepping into the room carefully. Thankfully there aren't any on the floor since they seem to prefer other surfaces, but literally everything else is nearly covered with bats. Buster can't even hop up onto the bed, and as a result he sits on the floor, tilting his head from side to side with a confused whine.
He walks over to the window and pulls the curtains shut, watching as the bats shuffle a bit when the room gets darker.]
[Jimmy nods, stepping around the bed- the surface of which is moving with bats- over to the door of the closet, carefully pushing it open even with more bats hanging from the slits in the door. Quickly a few flutter in, latching onto the pole down the center for clothes with their feet, hanging upside down there.
It's only then that Jimmy feels something moving in his hair and stops dead, slowly reaching up to feel...yes, another bat, who squeaks softly when he touches it. It takes a moment before the bat crawls off and wraps both wings around Jimmy's hand and wrist, clinging tightly as he draws him back around- only to have the bat detach and jump onto his shirt, shivering.]
Aw....poor thing...I wonder where all of these little guys came from?
[Joker finally succeeds in getting the little bat out of its delicious caffeinated confinement and lets it scuttle up his arm and to his shoulder. He chuckles as it licks at his ear.]
Must be the same place as wherever those dogs and cats and everythin' else. Actually... [He's slowly starting to put together something.] Hey, ya remember prom, Jims?

[Far down in the hallway, Claw and Fang look up at the ruckus and nearly fall over themselves because HOLY SHIT THAT IS SO MANY BATS]
[TOO MANY]

...If ya can open it with all of 'em on there.

[Joker's mouth is probably stuck in a permanent smile as he plops down besides the bed to let the bats start crawling over him. Migration time.]

Yeah! What's a circus without lions in it, right?
no subject
If they're anything like that Pyroar, I can't wait ta see 'em all.

[And come on, who doesn't want a fire lion.]
